Description
JAXB bridges Objectware (Javaware) and XMLware. JAXB consists of the schema compiler Technology:xjc and a library that supports un-/marshaling. JAXB is typically used for schema-first mapping so that one generates Java classes and interfaces from an XML schema (i.e., an element of the Language:XSD language. Arguably, JAXB can also be said to provide the capability of (open) serialization based on Language:XML as serialization format.
