You need GNU MP (libgmp). It works with http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libtool/libtool-2.4.tar.gz.
You need GNU Libtool (libltdl). It works with ftp://ftp.gmplib.org/pub/gmp-5.0.1/gmp-5.0.1.tar.bz2.
Berkley DB is not optional if you want indexed files. It works with http://freshmeat.net/projects/berkeleydb/ (Version 5.1.19).

You should make sure that configure install Berkley DB in /usr/local.
