Details
List processing via maps and folds is generalized to apply to a large class of types. To this end, we leverage functors and foldable types. We demonstrate the generalization with maybe types and rose trees. We also deal with the more advanced concept of bidirectional transformation and we briefly touch aspects of data parallelism.
